学佛人第一不能犯业。第二，犯了业要赶紧忏悔。有时候别人对你的一次劝导，可以让你重获新生。你能够听人劝，就是有福气。如果你们到今天还不知道应该怎么样在这个世界上生活，还不知道这个世间有很多的苦，那么，你就会越来越苦。
师父跟大家讲，人有四苦。第一个苦是看不透。我们对什么事情都看不透，其实，人际关系的复杂、纠结、争斗，都会有隐伤。什么叫隐伤？隐隐约约看不见的伤痕。你跟这个人吵过之后，你虽然说：“没关系，我们只是开个玩笑，算了。”事实上，这件事情并不会完全没有，而是会有隐蔽的伤痛。所以，一个人不管碰到什么事情，都要学会平淡，要知道任何争执、争斗，都会给你带来后遗症，有智慧的人要学会宁静。
第二个苦是舍不得。很多人舍不得过去曾经拥有的名、利、荣誉等，经常处在怀念中，想当年自己怎么样，这是一种虚荣心，这个舍不得会让你变得越来越颓废，越来越提不起精神。用现在话讲，你就是想听到自己过去得意时的掌声，而现在没有了，你却还在回忆中不能自拔。舍不得过去的荣华富贵，会让你伤心、伤肺、伤肝肠。
第三个苦是输不起。我们很多人都输不起。为什么？一输掉，感情就受到伤害；一输掉，就觉得人生惨败。实际上，人生只要跌倒了再爬起来，就没有跌倒过。当你摔下去，你不爬起来或者爬不起来，那才是真正的跌倒，那才叫真正的失败。
第四个苦是放不下。人常常放不下自己生命中已经走远的人和事，我们过去曾经有很多好朋友、好人，在心中记忆一辈子的事情 ，就像我们怀念自己的外公外婆、爷爷奶奶、父亲母亲一样，我们放不下这些，只会给我们心中制造更多的痛苦。所以要学会放下，因为放下会让你远离是非，放不下的人，永远会在是非中徘徊。
学佛人、有智慧的人，应该懂得怎么样来消除自己心中的障碍，怎么样让自己的心变得无罣碍，“心无罣碍，无罣碍故”。只要拥有智慧，你一定能够战胜人间所有的烦恼。学佛人永远看得到未来，永远看得到前途，永远看得到光明，那就是我们的智慧。当你只看到困难、烦恼、忧伤和嫉妒，让自己的心常生在痛苦之中，且久久不能磨灭和忘记，你心中就是拥有负能量。所以，能够排除痛苦、排除万难的人，就是拥有精进的智慧，就是拥有忍辱的毅力，就会懂得什么叫守戒，就会懂得怎么样走向光明、远离黑暗。</span>
