菩萨在帮助别人、救度别人的时候是不着相的，不着相就是无相。举个简单例子，你们很多人请别人吃饭，吃完了喜欢到处去讲：“我请他吃饭了，要不是我请他吃饭，他已经好几个月没人请了。”这个就叫着相。这种话传到被请人的耳朵里，就算你对他好，他也不领你的情。
菩萨帮助别人，从来没有说：“我在帮助你，我在救度你。”这些话用不着讲，这就是不着相。比方说，你去搀扶一位跌倒的老人，帮完了就结束了，没有到处去宣扬，就是无相。菩萨普度众生，在菩萨的眼睛里，菩萨没有感觉到有这么多众生要菩萨来救度，菩萨觉得大家都是一样的，所以菩萨没有把你们视为众生，好像菩萨在帮助你们一样。师父讲到三轮体空的时候，再具体讲这个话题。总的来说，就是你帮助别人后，不要到处去讲，你对别人好，别人心里都很明白。
不着相就是无相。很多女人帮老公做点事情，马上不停地讲自己付出了多少，老公会不耐烦地说：“够了，你讲过好几次了。”有的男人帮老婆买了一样礼品，也是反复讲，老婆也会反感：“好了、好了，我知道了。”如果你为别人做了一点事情，就不停地唠叨，生怕别人不知道，这样反而不能得到对方的感恩心。
菩萨帮助了众生，但是菩萨没认为有众生，因为菩萨说，众生本来就有觉悟的本性，本来就很觉悟，用不着菩萨来帮助，是这个概念。用现在话讲，就是你做一件事情，你要给别人面子，别人不知道怎么做，你帮了他，但你不要到处去讲：“你看，要不是我救济他，他这个关都过不来。”这种话是不能讲的，你讲了，你就是没有境界。所以，要理解众生本来就有觉悟的本性，菩萨度实无度，菩萨好像度人了，实际上菩萨并没有度人。
菩萨帮助别人，其实是一个很简单的道理，就是度实无度，这就是《金刚经》中说的无相法门。帮了别人像没帮过一样，做了好事不留名，这个人不就是圣人、不就是菩萨吗？为什么在我们小的时候雷锋那么有名？因为他做好事不留名。如果他做完好事到处去讲，他会成为“雷锋”吗？要懂得度人、帮人要低调，当被度的人越修越好后，他会主动说：“都是你度我的，我很感恩。”你修得好的话，你就会回答：“没有，也不是我度你的，你自己本来就有本性、有佛性。”相反，你们很多人帮了别人后到处去讲：“都是我度的他，没有我度他，他行吗？”这就是着相，师父希望你们要好好地理解《金刚经》中讲的无相法门。
佛陀说过，虽然度尽众生，但实无一众生得度者。虽然佛菩萨要度尽众生，实无一众生得度者，其实没有一个是被你度的。做了好事不留名，就是无相法门。一个妈妈在家里忙碌了一天，给孩子做两、三顿饭，吃完饭，把碗洗干净，晚上在沙发上坐下的时候，好像自己一天没干过什么事一样。孩子说：“妈妈，谢谢你给我们做饭了。”妈妈笑笑说：“没有啊！”好像没做过一样。如果妈妈冲着孩子说：“今天几顿饭都是我给你们做的，要不是我，你们吃得饱吗？你们有什么力气去读书？你们有什么能力？不是我每天给你们做饭，谁养你们？”这种妈妈有吗？你们过去有没有这样？有的，你们过去没学佛，做了点好事，就自以为了不起，喜欢自吹自擂，生怕别人不知道。
要记住，菩萨行的是无相度众，虽然度尽众生，但实无一众生得度者，因为菩萨知道众生只是一个幻相。我们要学菩萨，帮助别人不要着相。今天你好像帮助别人了，其实这个别人只是一个幻相。什么叫幻相？因为很多人被你度了之后，他就忘记了，他又变化了。有些人，你度了他，他变好了。还有些人，你度了他，没起作用。这些都是幻相，所以没有必要执着自己度了多少人。
虽然要超拔众生，事实上本来就没有众生要度。犹如：不要以为没有你们的帮助，别人就会挨冻受饿。你今天给家人做饭，给单位的同事做饭，要知道别人本来就有饭吃，只是你去帮忙了，别人会吃得更好一点，所以你没有必要到处去讲，是你让他没有挨饿，这就叫无相。看见这么多的众生要度，这只是一时的幻化而已。幻化是什么？你感觉到有这么多人，你要去帮助他们，所以你才能说度众生。
度众生又等于没有度众生。为什么？众生本来就有智慧。当一位同事正在发呆，对某一件事情傻傻的想不通的时候，你跑过去劝他说：“你不能再去找局长谈一下的？”你只是提醒了他，他就恍然大悟：“哦，对了，我想起来了，我再去找他谈一下。”你只是帮了他一点点，而不是说他没有智慧。举个简单例子，一头牛站在那里想不通，你跟它说再去做件什么事情，牛是不会明白的，它也是做不了的。而我们人不一样，因为人本身就有智慧，你只要一提醒，人马上就会去做，因为人本身就具有佛性。
人活在这个世界上本身就有佛性，所以佛说“众生皆具佛性”。你们每个人本来就很好，本来就具有佛性，表面上看来是菩萨度了你们，其实在菩萨看来并没有度你们，而是你们自己在自度，菩萨只是唤醒了你们心中的佛性。 </span>
