<span style="color:#4f4f4f"><span style="caret-color: rgb(79, 79, 79); font-size: 20px; white-space: pre-wrap;">接下来跟大家讲一个佛经上的五盖，佛经上有个专有名词，你们都要学会——五盖。五盖是什么？其实五盖就是五种烦恼。
一个，叫贪欲盖。贪欲盖是什么呢？就是贪爱人间的一种欲望。贪欲盖，就是欲望会使你身心迷惑，可以让你的心善法永不生起，也就是说让你的心中的善良永远抹去，不会拥有。贪欲盖令善法永不生起，因为你贪了人间的东西，你就令善法永不生起。
第二个，叫瞋恚盖。瞋恚盖是什么呢？恨。一个人很容易恨，一个人每天恨，每天难受，只要令你不开心，令你感受到不适合你的事情，感受到违背了你的意愿，你就会在境界上生起怨恨，而这种怨恨，怨和恨是相续的，你只要怨这个人，时间长了你就会恨他。“每一次都这样，你看，我跟他讲好的，他每一次都这样”，时间长了就会恨了。你看我这个秘书，每一次总是这样，每一次总这样，时间长了你一定会恨。比方说一个男人说老婆每天烧这个菜，总是太咸太咸，，跟她讲了多少次，她每一次烧这个菜都是太咸。一次两次，“我跟你讲了多少遍了，太咸了”，还可以嘛，再来，“我跟你讲，太咸了”，你去讲好了，怨，然后就恨。所以不要去怨人，深宫怨妇就是这么来的。所以人家说，一个女人老怨这个那个，怨天怨地，“这个事情不好啊”，怎么怎么，时间长她一定恨人家。一恨心里就难过，然后愤怒，愤了就会怒了，然后相续，就会覆盖我们清净的心性，所以就叫瞋恚盖。
第三，叫惛眠盖。惛眠盖是什么呢？昏昏沉沉的睡眠。我问你们，整天昏昏沉沉想睡觉的人，是不是脑子不清楚？你问他什么，刚刚问你什么事情，“啊？”。实际上惛眠盖也可以称为睡眠盖，所以把这一个盖称为惛沉睡眠盖。我看你们这一盖是没有一个人逃得了的。你们念经的时候就进入这个盖了，念经的时候，脑子不知道到哪里去了。现在跟你们解释一下这个盖的毛病是什么。惛沉，心性会惛沉，经常睡不醒的人，心情惛沉，忘失正念。所以贪睡的人没有正念，贪睡无正念，所以你们不要贪睡，自己规定睡7个小时、6个小时、8个小时，规定就可以了。贪睡的人没有正念。为什么？我问你，一个人“我明天早点起来吧”，好，明天早点起来锻炼身体，睡得……你说他有正念吗？你想改变自己，你必须不能昏睡，因为人的心在昏沉和睡眠当中容易变成阴沉。我问你们，很多人害怕睡觉，晚上不敢睡觉，因为有些人很容易做噩梦，所以阴身（阴的身体）的女人不敢睡觉，害怕。很多人晚上一睡觉就做梦，一睡觉就做噩梦，她害怕，到后来，我就叫她睡觉之前先念7遍大悲咒。所以这个盖就是说你已经被它迷惑了。惛沉睡眠盖，就是你已经被它盖住了，你搞不清楚，你搞不清楚什么叫对什么叫错，就是这个道理。
第四，叫掉举恶作盖。恶作，大家知道：厌恶，做事情，做的事情厌恶。自己所做不好的事情，已经把良心的事情都没有了，恶的事情把你盖住了，使你分不清楚什么叫对什么叫错，而且是厌恶过去做错的事情，会产生掉举恶作盖。经常想起来过去的事情，难过、伤心、痛苦，想到过去，难过、不开心，妄念纷飞。掉举是什么，掉举两个字是指心躁动不安，就是人心情一会儿掉下去了，一会升起来了。升起来不是叫举起来了吗？心不定，澳洲人叫什么？upset（心烦意乱）。掉举，掉下来，心情掉下来，非常沉重，举起来，好了，又觉得好。所以很多人有毛病的，一会儿很开心，这世界是我的，很开心，一会儿又……神经病，掉举就是神经病。心情掉举，恶作是什么，狠狠地在刺痛自己的心灵，过去做错很多事情让自己难受。你经常去回忆你过去做错的事情，心情经常不好，时间长了，你会泯灭你修道的道心。所以很多人经常心情一会儿好，一会儿不好，这种人会泯灭自己的道心。道心是什么意思，就是修道的坚定的信心。很多人很可怜，一会儿修修，哎呀，蛮好，菩萨保佑我的，你看，一求就灵。过一会儿，怎么求得不灵的，不信了。你说这种人能有出息吗？他没有长久的信心。
第五盖，叫疑盖。我相信你们都知道疑盖吧？怀疑啊，怀疑之后会生出很多烦恼的。你怀疑佛法是不是真的、是不是灵啊，你怀疑这世界上还有好人吗，没了，没有好人了，那这世界上很多自杀的人就会认为：待在世界上干吗，都是坏人。你看看，一辈子碰到的人都是坏人，都在害他，没有啊。很多女孩子就是觉得怎么个个都这么坏，个个都这么恶。好了，疑盖，怀疑。你说这个世界上没好人吗？我不承认，师父就是好人，怎么会没好人呢，不要命地救人，不是我一个，你们都在不要命地救人，你们都很好，你们敢说你们良心不好吗？疑心生暗鬼，心中有鬼的人才怀疑人家。整天怀疑的人会有朋友吗？做生意的人整天怀疑别人，人家会跟你做生意吗？你娶了个老婆，你整天怀疑她做坏事，这个老婆会跟你时间长吗？就这么简单，这世界上就这样，你整天怀疑你的老板，老板会喜欢你吗？你整天怀疑领导在搞你，这个领导会用你吗？你整天怀疑自己要生癌症，你的心情会好吗？疑盖，不能怀疑，因为会造成你修心的甚深的业障，会有业障。所以在很多的经文当中，对五盖，你们都知道了。</span></span>
